Please Note: This app is designed for practicing basic EKG interpretation and assumes that users already have a solid understanding of the fundamentals. If you are not familiar with basic EKG interpretation, we recommend learning the basics before using this app. This app can be used to enhance and reinforce your skills or as a refresher.
Basic EKG interpretation is not an easy task. It requires an intermediate level of knowledge, which can only be acquired through time, practice, and continuous refreshing. Whether you are a doctor, nurse, or EMT, the ability to read and quickly identify basic EKG changes in real-time is essential for your professional role. With this app, you can practice with realistic-looking EKGs, just like the ones you encounter in your work environment.
The app offers twenty-three randomly presented rhythms in lead II. You can practice identifying these rhythms or simply observe them as they emulate across three different strips. The rates, amplitudes, and widths of the rhythms are dynamically set to provide a more realistic simulation and variation within each rhythm type.
